What CreatorGrid collects, why, who processes it, and the control you have over it.

What this covers

This policy explains what CreatorGrid collects when you use creatorgrid.ai, why, who it is shared with, and what you can do about it. It applies to your account and everything you do inside the platform. Using CreatorGrid also means accepting the Terms of Service.

What we collect

Account data. Name, email address, password (stored hashed by our authentication provider), sign-in and session activity, and any two-factor enrolment.

Creator business information. Your business profile: role, platforms, stage, goals, expertise claims, headline, links, and visibility preferences.

Community contributions. Questions, answers, votes, saved items, Decision Records, and the contribution history behind them.

Creator Impact. The events and moderation decisions that make up your contribution record and score.

Marketplace and provider data. Provider applications, listings, expertise submissions, inquiries, engagements, and reviews.

Uploaded documents. Files you upload — for example contracts submitted for AI review, message attachments, and profile images.

Messaging. Direct messages, attachments, and conversation state between you and other members.

Location and Grid data. If you opt into the Grid, an approximate location you provide. Other members only ever see an obfuscated, city-level or area-level position — never precise coordinates.

Analytics and diagnostics. Product usage events, page views, device and browser information, and error reports. Analytics is optional and can be turned off in settings.

AI inputs and context. Prompts you send to the AI Business Assistant, the documents and project context you attach, and the resulting conversations and saved business memory.

Billing data. Subscription status, plan, billing period, and Stripe customer and subscription identifiers. Card numbers are handled by Stripe and never reach CreatorGrid.

Why we process it

  • to provide the platform, your account, and the features you use
  • to run search, related content, and the daily brief
  • to operate membership billing and entitlements
  • to moderate content, investigate reports, and enforce the terms
  • to secure accounts, detect abuse, and apply rate limits
  • to understand product usage in aggregate and fix defects
  • to send account and service emails

Who it is shared with

Other members. Your profile, community contributions, Creator Impact, and — if enabled — your obfuscated Grid presence are visible to members. Messages are visible only to the people in the conversation.

Service providers we use to run the platform. Supabase (database, authentication, file storage), Stripe (payments), Google Gemini via our AI gateway (AI features), PostHog (optional product analytics), and our email delivery infrastructure for account emails. They process data on our instructions.

Nobody else. We do not sell your data and we do not share it for third-party advertising.

We may disclose data where legally required, or where necessary to investigate abuse or protect members.

Moderator access

Moderators can see reported content. Where a report concerns private messages, access is scoped to the reported material, requires the report to exist, and is written to an audit record. Moderators do not browse private conversations.

AI processing

Prompts and attached context are sent to the model provider to generate a response, and the conversation is stored in your account so you can return to it. Do not paste anything into the assistant that you are not permitted to share with a third-party processor.

How long we keep it

Account and business data is kept while your account exists. Billing records, moderation decisions, and platform audit entries are kept after deletion where we need them for accounting, legal, or safety reasons — these records are append-only by design.

Public community contributions and Decision Records may remain after an account is deleted, because other members rely on them; they can be disassociated from your identity on request where feasible.

Your choices

  • edit or remove most profile and business information in settings
  • turn product analytics off in settings
  • control notification and messaging preferences
  • opt out of the Grid at any time
  • cancel membership from Billing
  • request account deletion or a copy of your data from settings

Deletion and data requests

You can raise an account deletion or data request from your account settings. It creates a durable request our team acts on; we will confirm by email when it is completed. Deletion is irreversible and ends access immediately once processed. Records we must retain, as described above, are excluded.

Security

Data is stored with row-level access controls, private file storage, and audited privileged access. Two-factor authentication is available on your account. No system is perfectly secure; report a suspected issue to support@creatorgrid.ai.

Children

CreatorGrid is not intended for anyone under 18 and we do not knowingly collect their data.

Changes to this policy

We will update this page when our processing changes, and change the updated date at the top. Material changes will be surfaced in-product or by email.
